Bonjour Colorado Springs! Day 2 of our Crêpe training. We worked on appetizers and wraps with a Crêpe base. It was a very interesting and delicious discovery. The warm appetizer was a roll made with my favorite cheese: Reblochon… incredibly good. As for the cold roll, it was garnished with avocado, a delicious aromatic cream, smoked trout, and a few other garnishes, a very pleasant combination. Would this be something you would like to try? Which type would you think you’d like the most?
After lunch, by just taking a few steps around the Crêpe School, we discovered a very cute street with the rounded rocks again, stone houses, pretty flowers… If you ever visit Brittany, make sure to get out of the main roads, otherwise you’d missing on a lot.
A few crêpes later and after several tastings, Pearline being exhausted from her busy day, I went for a walk on the beach with my sister, Corn Ar Gazel beach in St Pabu and enjoyed watching the Kite Surfers and seagulls.
I wrote this post while watching the finale of the French top Chef after a few days of Roland Garros! A well deserved peaceful evening as tomorrow is live Crêpe service for us for 20 people… more news soon…
