Bonjour Colorado Springs from Quebec!
By day, by night, we explored the lower part of the old city and had fun trying to find all of the pink inflatable dudes from a temporary expo!
A long bike route took me away from the city where I followed several rivers and could enjoy the view of the Frontenac Hotel from the other side. I stopped at a cute bike-friendly cafe O’Ravito cafĂ© relais and got probably the best smoothie I ever had! Maybe it was the maple syrup in it that made the difference.
For those planning a visit, I highly recommend L’Orygine for dinner. The experience was perfect: service, ambiance, and food of course. They only use local products and create a perfect balance of unique flavors, with the right amount of crunch, acidity, and surprises along the way. A must!
Now if you’re looking for a fun quick sweet treat, definitely try La Queue du Castor (Beaver Tail) for a doughnut type pastry with different toppings but be ready to be messy! Their napkins know what will happen!
I hope you enjoyed our adventures and took notes for your next trip to Quebec!
